Cold Yet Good Looking

So we jus got into winter folks, a season oh-not-so-friendly to some parts of our body. This calls for peeps to make an extra effort in taking care of themselves. This made me realize I can lend a hand in doing some research into this. Our face, hands and feet are in the top three parts of our body that get affected the most by this chilly weather. So how can we take care of these this winter?

SMOOTH AND MORE APPEALING FACE
Our screensaver (as some call it) always gets the larger share when it comes to exposure to terrible weather. It easily loses moisture during winter and becomes dry. Let's focus on how to prevent this
* using richer creams during winter helps as they carry active components that Carey moisture to the deepest skin layers. Apply them in the mrng and especially at night as the regenerative processes in the body are most active during the night.
#- Face is to be scrubbed only once a week. Any more of this will traumatise the skin and make it more sensitive
#- Change of diet. I knoe most are thinking WHAT! buh yes, we doing for the betterment of our skin. Including more oily fish in our meals means more oil to the skin. Also consider more of linseed or walnut oil in our salad dressing instead of olive oil
#- A deep cleaning facial will do good for your skin pores as it gets rid of all the gunk leaving the skin looking amah-zing!

SOFT HANDS
Gentlemen, it's winter, ladies will be trusting on you to get some warmth and the last thing they want is rough hands on their tender skin. Did y'all know that there aren't any oil glands on the palms? So during winter the skin tries to protect itself from the drop in temperature by thickening the outer layer resulting in roughening and cracking. Here are some tips to get them soft and tender:
#- Avoid washing yo hands with ice cold water as this causes the skin to dry and peel.
#- After washing yo hands, dry them immediately to stop hang nails from appearing.
#- Soak yo hands in warm water then scrub them. Dry them thoroughly after and apply a nourishing cream and remove excess with tissue after ten minutes.

CORN, CRACK AND FUNGAL-FREE FEET
During winter we tend to wear heavy footwear and thick socks. If we don't practise strict hygiene, these will be perfect conditions for fungal infections. So how can we keep warm and happy feet? Tips:
#- Washing our feet everyday in warm soapy water goes a long way to healthy feet. Roughened skin can be scrubbed with a pumice stone and then dry your feet thoroughly ESPECIALLY in-between the toes.
#- If you have dry skin, apply moisturising cream, covering the whole foot except in-between the toes.
#- Trim your toe nails using proper nail clippers. Cut them straight across and one should avoid making them too short

So gentlemen..... and ladies, let's keep the amazing looks this cmng winter and don't let this chilly moment bring down yo swagger.. LOL
